

Who is Field Trip Kitchen ?

Since Stratford born chef Michael Taylor started his kitchen career at 14, he has had the opportunity to work at some of the top restaurants, resorts & hotels in Stratford, in Canada and the world. Going from prep cook to executive chef, and everything in between, preparing dinners for 4 at a bistro, farm dinners for 40, or banquets for 4,000, Michael had pretty much done it all...but not quite. Field Trip Kitchen is Michael’s opportunity to take his love of farm to table comfort food cooking on the road. Incorporating local ingredients when possible and making everything from scratch, are the cornerstones for his cooking. Both meat and veggie options are offered so that there is something for almost everyone. Check out Field Trip Kitchen's weekly food options at the Bayfield Farmers' Market, on Fridays, or the Stratford Sunday Market. If you have an event or celebration that you want catered, please get in touch...or you can even visit Michael on a Friday +/or Sunday at the markets.
